Our team flew straight from LA’s ExpoWest directly to Austin, Texas for the legendary South By Southwest (SXSW) held in Austin for the last 20 years. Originally founded as a music festival, SXSW has morphed into one of the top tech and innovation gatherings in the USA. TwentyFifty was invited to participate in the Future of Food panel and event, a prestigious honor that included leaders from Kroger, UNFI, and a host of celebrity chefs and international climate NGOs. 

Austin is known as a hipster hotspot, and SXSW did not disappoint. Over four days, our booth in the Social Impact area attracted all types of sustainability aficionados, from festival managers to international diplomats. One highlight was having the SharkTank TV production team come by, who invited and encouraged TwentyFifty to create an audition video to appear on the show in 2023 or 2024. SharkTank is the USA’s #1 entrepreneur and startup TV show, with millions of viewers of each episode. Very exciting recognition for a new, environmentally-friendly brand such as TwentyFifty. We are really pleased to be gaining awareness in some of the most important and respected US events focusing on planet-friendly products and practices!
